This is the official App for the 2017 CIT International Conference. This year’s conference is in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Aug. 15 – 19, 2017 at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center.
This year’s event hopes to continue the long tradition of CIT International, which is to provide all its attendees with a quality experience of learning, engaging and networking around CIT.
We have over 100 workshops planned that will cover local, state, national and international CIT topics including: starting, implementing and sustaining CIT programs; CIT in urban, rural and frontier communities; innovative community collaborations serving adult, children, and adolescent populations; jail/ prison diversion programs, mental health specialty courts…and more!!
We also have three Nationally known Keynote Speakers who will address topics of CIT Leadership, Violence and Mental Illness and innovative research on first episodes with schizophrenia in young people.
Begin your conference experience with a Free workshop: How to Start or Improve Your CIT Program on Aug. 15, 2017. We will also be holding two CIT Coordinator’s Certification Programs – one on Aug. 15 and one on Aug. 19. These two classes require pre-registration and currently have a waiting list.
There will be several networking opportunities, including a welcome reception on Wednesday, Aug. 16, which will be poolside at the Hilton Marina Hotel with drinks and a light fare and will provide all attendees the chance to share ideas, meet old friends and make new friends. A great time to Connect.
